What Premium is

Premium is an optional monthly subscription that supports the running costs of Anonium and unlocks convenience and appearance features. Encryption, blocking, link renewal and every privacy guarantee are identical on the free tier and are never paywalled.

Billing and renewal

• Premium is sold and billed by the app store on your device, not directly by Modullium.
• The subscription renews automatically each period until cancelled.
• Your account is charged at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
• Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase and may include taxes depending on your region.
• We never receive or store your card details, billing address or store account information.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your app store account. Cancellation stops future renewals; the subscription remains active until the end of the period already paid for, after which the app reverts to the free tier.

• Google Play: open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select Anonium and choose Cancel subscription.
• Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel through the store first.
• Deleting your Anonium identity also does not cancel billing, because the subscription belongs to your store account and not to your anonymous link.

Refunds

Because purchases are processed by the app store, refunds are governed by that store's refund policy and are handled by them. Modullium cannot issue, reverse or process a payment directly.

• Google Play generally allows a self-service refund request shortly after purchase, and considers later requests case by case through Play support.
• Request a refund from the Play Store order history, or through Google Play support.
• Statutory rights to a refund or a cooling-off period under your local consumer law are unaffected by this page.

If a store refund request relating to Anonium is declined and you believe the circumstances are exceptional, write to [email protected]. We will support a reasonable case with the store where we can, though the final decision rests with them.

Restoring a purchase

Premium is tied to the app store account that bought it, not to your anonymous link. If Premium features do not appear after reinstalling or after a payment, open Anonium and use the restore option in the subscription screen. The app re-checks your subscription with the store and reactivates Premium if it is active.

If the status still does not update, confirm you are signed in to the store with the same account used for the purchase, then reopen the app.

New or lost device

Your subscription follows your store account, so signing in on a new device and reinstalling Anonium restores Premium. Your identity and conversations do not transfer: they exist only on the original device and cannot be recovered by us. A new installation begins with a new anonymous link.

Price changes

If the subscription price changes, the app store will notify you in advance and, where required, ask you to accept the new price before it takes effect. You may cancel instead of accepting.

Failed payments and lapses

If a renewal payment fails, the store may retry for a short grace period. If it is not resolved, Premium ends and Anonium returns to the free tier. Premium-only appearance settings, such as accent colours or the pitch black theme, revert to their free equivalents. Nothing is deleted, and resubscribing restores them.
